I’m a member of a few online writers’ groups, and one of them currently has a discussion going on around the value of blogging for fiction authors. It’s an interesting read. New year, new start…
Here we are, almost halfway through the first month of 2016 – something tells me this year is going to go at leas as fast as last year! I thought it was about time to give you an update on Club Aegis 3, Passion’s Last Promise. The bad news is that I didn’t manage to write as much over Christmas as I planned – the better news is that I think I have between 5,000 and 8,000 words to go, to complete the first draft. Season’s Greetings
Well, the day job has now finished until 4 January, which gives me a good opportunity to get on with Passion’s Last Promise, the latest Club Aegis novel. I’m still working on the initial draft. The word count currently stands at around 85,000, and I still have some way to go. This story has taken a few mystery turns along the way, scenes I never imagined when I first started writing it, which is why Ros and Simon are giving me so many problems! The title says it all, but in a totally inadequate way. Passion’s Last Promise (Club Aegis 3) – update
Here we are, just a few weeks from Christmas. I had hoped to have Passion’s Last Promise available before Christmas, but it looks like it isn’t going to happen – for which I deeply apologise. I am making progress – the problem I have is that my characters are telling me about lots of things they want to happen in the story, but I think it’s just going to be too much for this one book.
