First standalone story
Spent Love In a departure from the Club Aegis series, I’m pleased to announce my first standalone publication, a novella featuring two professionals each at a significant turning point in their lives. Faye and Michael are strangers, but they are brought together on a windswept beach by Michael’s dog, Artie. They each have major decisions to make regarding their futures – can they move on and leave their pasts behind, and will they move on as acquaintances, friends…or something more? You don’t get a post for months…
And then two come along almost at once! As you’re probably aware, Club Aegis 1: The Velvet Ribbon is now out there as an eBook, in three formats. As of today, it’s also available as a paperback. But that’s not what I’m here to tell you. The real reason I’m here is to let you know that in August, I’m due to visit New York, in order to attend BDSM Writers Con 2015. This will be my first ever con, and I’m attending as a Featured Author. It’s quite scary, but exciting too. I’ve never been to the Big Apple before, so that’s another first. Thanks for reading!

News…and an apology
Hello again. First of all, I need to apologise for the length of time since I last posted a message. Things have been progressing slowly, but I’m now at the stage where I’m about to send off the files to have Club Aegis 1: The Velvet Ribbon formatted. Subject to the workload of the formatters, I’m hoping to be able to make my first book available for sale before too long. Please bear with me. Hi, and I hope you’re having a most enjoyable festive season! Mine has been busy but fruitful. Club Aegis 1 – The Velvet Ribbon is a little closer to being unleashed on an unsuspecting world. It is now in the tender care of my highly professional editor, who is currently enjoying a well-earned holiday but is looking forward to getting to grips with the manuscript. And what is “it”? My next novel. Well, “next” novel may be something of a misnomer for a couple of reasons. It’s actually my first novel as “Christie Adams”, but it’s a new version of my first ever novel, published in 2013. And, I hope, an improved version. It’s also the start of a series of seven novels. I don’t have a release date yet – there’s still quite a way to go, but I am approaching the point where the manuscript will be going off for editing.
