Some time ago, I had an idea for a story. It was a one-off standalone, unrelated to everything else I’d written up to that point. Something about the story made me want to write it in a different style. Apart from the prologue of No Going Back, I always write in third person past tense, but this time, I felt compelled to write in first person present tense. I also felt I needed a new pen name for that style of writing.
The name sprang to mind without warning. I decided to run with it, and so Eloise Lockharte was born. In due course, Blind Faith was completed and published.
Time passed, and an idea formed at the back of my mind, that maybe my readers would like to read Blind Faith, so I asked my wonderful cover artist to change the author name on the cover: Eloise Lockharte has now become Christie Adams writing as Eloise Lockharte.
So far, I’ve only written the one book under that pen name. Right now, I’m not sure if or when I’ll write any more, but this is the place where I’ll let you know. And if you decide to take a chance on Eloise, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
